His Eminence took part in the esteemed Sant Sammelan, held during Maha Kumbh 2025
Feb. 27. 2025. Maha Kumbh Mela celebrates once after every cycler of twelve year. This year it celebrates from January 13th to February 26 at Hindu sacred site Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh.
As requested, His Eminence Kundeling Tatsak Rinpoche attended this special religious event in Prayagraj and delivered an inspiring speech at the esteemed Sant Sammelan, an important part of the Maha Kumbh held on 25th and 26th February, where hundreds of religious leaders and gurus have participated.
In his address, Rinpoche emphasized the importance of religion in today’s world and highlighted values of compassion, tolerance, and non-violence as key to fostering peace and understanding. Quoting His Holiness the Dalai Lama, he reminded us: “Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive.” And shared the noble commitments of His Holiness the Dalai Lama too.
Rinpoche urged everyone to unite in addressing global challenges such as environmental issues, social inequality, and human dignity.
The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, is one of the world’s largest spiritual gatherings, drawing millions of pilgrims seeking purification and enlightenment at the sacred confluence of rivers.
