His Eminence Kundeling Tatsak Rinpoche Completes Month-Long Spiritual Tour Across Russia

His Eminence Kundeling Tatsak Rinpoche successfully concluded a nearly month-long spiritual tour across four major regions of Russia — the Republic of Kalmykia, St. Petersburg, Moscow, and the Tuva Republic — bringing blessings, initiations, empowerments, and profound teachings to thousands of devotees.
The tour began on April 11 in Kalmykia, where Rinpoche was warmly received by The Central Khurul, The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni. During his week-long visit, he bestowed a series of initiations and teachings, including the Noble Manjushri Initiation, Long Life Empowerment of White Tara – the Wish-fulfilling Wheel, and discourses on the Four Noble Truths, Twelve Links of Interdependence, and Threefold Refuge. He also visited the villages of Ketchener and Yashkul, extending blessings and teachings to local devotees.
From April 19 to 21, in St. Petersburg, at the invitation of Kuntse-Choeney Monastery (Datsan Gunzechoinei), His Eminence introduced the core principles of Buddhism, conferred the Oral Transmission of the Prayer of the Noble Excellent Conduct with explanation, and bestowed the Initiation of Palden Lhamo.
Continuing to Moscow, at the request of the Drepung Gomang Centre and Cultural Foundation, Rinpoche gave detailed teachings on Buddhist philosophy, including the Concept of Consciousness, Mind-Body Interrelation, and instructions on Redeemer of Mind from Suffering. He also conferred the Empowerment of Ekavira Yamantaka and gave transmission of its practice methods. His Eminence consecrated the Thupten Shedrupling Buddhist Monastery and offered further public teachings on Introduction to Buddhism and the unique lineage transmission of Guru Yoga passed from Je Tsongkhapa to Khedrup Je.
The final leg of the tour took Rinpoche to the Tuva Republic on April 30, where he was warmly welcomed by Kamby Lama Gelek Natsyk Dorju, the Buddhist leader of Tuva, and large numbers of devotees. From May 1–3 at Thubten Shedrub Ling Monastery, His Eminence conducted preparatory sessions and bestowed the Empowerment of the Thirteen Deities of Yamantaka, followed by the Empowerment of Avalokiteshvara and Initiation of Vajrapani (Lion’s Roar).
On May 4, at Thegchen Rabten Tashi Chökor Ling Monastery, Rinpoche was received by the Governor of Ese Tokhore District and the local community. There, he consecrated the monastery, gave oral transmissions of essential daily prayers and mantras, bestowed lay vows, and offered a public teaching. He departed Tuva for Moscow on May 5, marking the conclusion of the historic tour.
Throughout the journey, His Eminence touched the hearts of thousands, strengthening spiritual ties and reviving ancient Buddhist traditions across Russia.
