H.E. Kundeling Tatsak Rinpoche Consecrates New Assembly Hall and Presides Over Grand Palden Lhamo Ritual

Gaden Shartse Lhopa Khangtsen, South India, 8 February 2026 — At the invitation of Gaden Shartse Lhopa Khangtsen, His Eminence Kundeling Tatsak Rinpoche graciously visited the Khangtsen on 8 February 2026.

Upon His Eminence’s arrival, he was accorded a traditional and warm reception led by Khen Rinpoche Jangchup Sangye, Abbot of Gaden Shartse Thoesam Norling Monastic College, together with the reincarnated Lamas of the Khangtsen, venerable spiritual teachers, monastic officials, and a large assembly of monks.

During the visit, His Eminence performed the consecration of the newly constructed assembly hall, including all sacred objects and supports enshrined within it, thereby blessing and sanctifying the new facility for its continued use in the spiritual and communal activities of the Khangtsen.

As part of the Khangtsen’s annual tradition of conducting the all-night Palden Lhamo Offering and Fulfilment Ritual, dedicated to the benefit of both the spiritual and temporal domains, His Eminence graciously presided as the chief patron of this year’s grand Lhamo ritual.

On the occasion, His Eminence also addressed the assembled Sangha, offering profound and detailed guidance on the importance of discernment in Dharma practice—particularly the wisdom to distinguish clearly what should be adopted and cultivated from what should be abandoned. His Eminence emphasized the importance of applying the Buddha’s teachings correctly in one’s conduct and practice, so that Dharma becomes a genuine means of transforming one’s mind and benefiting others.

The visit concluded in an atmosphere of deep devotion and spiritual inspiration, strengthening the auspicious connection between His Eminence Kundeling Tatsak Rinpoche and the Gaden Shartse Lhopa Khangtsen, while further enriching the Khangtsen’s ongoing religious activities.
