H.E. Kundeling Tatsak Rinpoche Concludes Kollegal Visit with Guidance, Blessings, and Community Engagements

Kollegal Dhondenling Tibetan Settlement, 13–15 February 2026 — Continuing his three-day visit to Kollegal Dhondenling Tibetan Settlement, His Eminence Kundeling Tatsak Rinpoche engaged with the local Tibetan community through educational guidance, spiritual teachings, and visits to important institutions and religious centres.

On the afternoon of 13 February, His Eminence visited Sambhota Tibetan School, where he addressed the teachers, staff, and students on the importance of equipping the younger generation with both traditional Tibetan education and modern education. His Eminence emphasized the value of preserving the richness of Tibetan knowledge, language, and cultural heritage while also acquiring modern education and skills necessary to meet the challenges of the contemporary world.

During the same visit, His Eminence also visited His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Phodrang and other local monasteries, offering his respects and strengthening his connection with the religious institutions of the settlement.

On the afternoon of 14 February, His Eminence visited the Settlement Office, Nyamdrel Office, and the local Old Age Home. At the Old Age Home, Rinpoche offered a spiritual discourse to the elderly residents, sharing words of comfort, encouragement, and Dharma guidance. He also compassionately bestowed the oral transmission (lung) of the mantras of Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava), Avalokiteshvara’s Six-Syllable Mantra (Om Mani Padme Hum), and Tara, enabling the elderly devotees to establish a connection with these profound practices.

On 15 February, following the successful completion of his three-day visit, His Eminence departed from the settlement. The Settlement Officer, President of the Local Tibetan Assembly, and President of Nyamdrel accompanied His Eminence to Bengaluru Airport, where they respectfully saw him off.

His Eminence’s visit to Kollegal Dhondenling was marked by meaningful engagements with the settlement’s educational, religious, administrative, and community institutions, offering valuable guidance and spiritual blessings to Tibetans of all generations.
