A Spiritual Visit to Sera Jey Riwo Yonten Monastery in Taiwan

TAIPEI, Taiwan — September 6, 2026: At the formal request of Taiwan Sera Jey Riwo Yonten Monastery, His Eminence Kundeling Tatsak Rinpoche conferred the Medicine Buddha initiation (Jenang) at the monastery in Taipei.

During the occasion, His Eminence was presented with the traditional offering of Mandal Ten Sum (མཎྜལ་རྟེན་གསུམ།) as part of the ceremony.

The programme also featured a presentation of Tibetan Buddhist dialectical debate by Taiwanese women studying at the monastery. Their participation reflected the growing interest and engagement of local practitioners in the study and practice of Tibetan Buddhism, particularly in the monastic tradition of Buddhist philosophy and debate.
